Have you heard about the “Organaised October” wip-along which will be taking place on Instagram during, yes, you guessed it, October? It’s going to be so much fun!
In case you don’t know, “wip” stands for “work in progress”, and a “wip-along” is a chance for crafters (crocheters, knitters, sewers, absolutely any craft you like) to get out all their unfinished projects (we always have too many don’t we?), take stock of where they all are, and commit for a month to moving things on a bit, and hopefully even finishing some. Not only that, as we all do it as a group, there are heaps of other makers around to cheer each other on, share progress and tips with, and generally just to get to know and make friends with!
Laura @goslingandplumb came up with the idea for this one, and Carrie @harold_and_claude, Caroline @poppyseedandpom, and I will be helping her to host it. I’ve joined in with a few wip-alongs before and had so much fun but this will be my first time as a host! I’m really excited!
There’s no need to sign up for anything, just start following the hashtags #organisedoctober and #wipalong2019 and share your progress with them too. We’ll be sharing a selection of posts to our stories throughout the month so even more people will get to see your work.
